Oven Roasted Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 Whole chicken
- Olive oil
- Salt, black pepper, BBQ spices, seven spices, chicken spices, ground cardamom, ginger
- Pomegranate molasses
- Lemon juice
- 1 Small tomato
- Dried or fresh basil
Steps
- 1Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly and prick them with a fork to help absorb the marinade.
- 2In a large bowl, mix oil, spices (ginger, garlic, pepper, cumin, salt), lemon juice, and pomegranate molasses.
- 3Add chicken pieces to the mixture and refrigerate for some time for better flavor.
- 4Preheat oven to 190°C, arrange chicken in a roasting tray, and bake for one hour.
- 5Flip the chicken pieces after 30 minutes to ensure even browning on both sides.
- 6Remove from the oven once fully cooked and serve hot with salads.
